ONE PIECE FLOW
The process of producing a piece at a
time; it is the opposite of batch production with much shorter processing time as well as reduced
handling and space. As opposed to batch,
the next process can determine exactly when or how problems occur,
then switch production to different items with minimum
interruption to production flow.
