INVENTORY TURNS
The rate at which inventory is “sold out” and restocked,
that is, turned over. Faster inventory turns indicate an organization
is holding less excess inventory. Inventory Turns are usually calculated
by dividing the cost of goods sold for a time period by the average
inventory cost for the period.
